V-STROM, GSX-S1000 GT, AND SR75 SPECIAL BUILDS SET FOR ABR FESTIVAL

Back to news

The 2022 Adventure Bike Rider Festival takes place this weekend, 24-26 June, with Suzuki bringing a test ride and display fleet, while SR75 World Team Suzuki - known for its multiple Arenacross titles - will also display a special RM-Z450 ‘factory edition’, as well as a project V-Strom 650XT build with a supercross twist.

An original DR800S - from which the V-Strom 1050XT takes its design cues - will demonstrate Suzuki’s heritage in the adventure and off-road scene, and will be on display on the ABR concourse.

Three GSX-S1000GTs, which incorporates smartphone connectivity into its 6.5” full-colour TFT screen, gets cruise control, traction control, a quickshifter and autoblipper, and selectable engine maps, will be available to demo alongside four V-Strom 1050XTs - with lean angle-sensitive ABS, hill hold control, load and slope-dependent control, cruise control, and three power modes. Two 650XTs and a V-Strom 650 will also be available to try.

The GSX-S1000GT, V-Strom 1050XT, V-Strom 650XT, and V-Strom 650 will also form part of Suzuki’s static display, plus the V-Strom 1050XT Tour, which adds three-piece aluminium luggage as standard and further bolsters practicality, the GSX-S1000, and the third generation Hayabusa.

Suzuki staff will be on hand to arrange test rides - for which riders will need their licence and DVLA check code or National Insurance number - and provide information on current offers available, including the Buying. Power. campaign that sees a number of models available with just 2.9% APR Representative, over a three-year PCP or Hire Purchase agreement, with no deposit required.

The festival takes place over three days at Ragley Hall, Alcester B49 5NJ.
