Local Suzuki dealership Bike Treads Motorcycle Centre is hosting a summer open day on Saturday 9 July, with almost all of the Japanese brand’s on-road range available to test ride. There will also be on-the-day special offers, refreshments, and additional exhibitors and bike displays.
Headlining the demo fleet is Suzuki’s new GSX-S1000GT sports tourer. The GT combines an agile chassis and punchy engine with comfort and practicality that includes phone connectivity through a 6.5” full-colour TFT screen, cruise control, five modes of traction control, a quickshifter and autoblipper, selectable engine maps, and optional integrated hard luggage.
It will be available to test ride alongside other models such as the GSX-S1000 street bike, V-Strom 1050XT flagship adventure machine, and the latest iteration of the legendary Hayabusa.
Arai helmets will be offering free services and cleans, while the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) and the Trail Riders Fellowship (TRF) will be exhibiting.
Bike Treads will also be offering discounts on Premier and LS2 helmets and Weise and Duchinni clothing, plus staff will be on hand with information on all of Suzuki’s current finance offers.
And throughout the day teas, coffees, soft drinks and hot food will be available.
